Reinforcement

Leviat manufactures a wide range of engineered Ancon reinforcement systems for use at construction joints in concrete. Products include threaded starter bars, reinforcing bar couplers, headed anchors and re-bend continuity systems. Stainless steel reinforcement is also available.

Unicoil Products

UniCoil16 are threaded starter bars for connecting panels and floors in precast and tilt-up construction. UniCoil has a higher yield (137kN) and ultimate tensile strength (179kN) than standard N16 bars, so less reinforcement may be required saving material and labour. The smooth, continuously rolled UniCoil thread is fast and simple to install.

Metric Threaded Bars

Metric Threaded Bars, otherwise known as Starter Bars, are used for joining wall panels to floor panels, in addition to wall panels to mezzanine floors. The bars are suitable for use with the Ancon Qwikfoot threaded inserts and round threaded inserts range after the panels have been erected to join the floors, providing a full strength, slip-free connection.

This starter bar provides a cost-effective solution due to its high strength, which can consequently mean less reinforcement may be required saving materials and labour.

Musclestart Socket Bars

This is a starter bar system which provides a full bar strength joint for precast concrete panels and floors. Socket Bars are manufactured by a patented swaging process which locks the seamless threaded insert onto the bar.

BT Couplers

BT Couplers are the smallest in the Ancon range and are the most cost-effective when used on large scale, high volume projects. The end of the bar is cut square and enlarged by cold forging, before a parallel metric thread is cut. Stainless Steel BT Couplers

Stainless steel BT couplers are available in 12, 16, 20, 25, 28, 36, 40 and 50mm bar diameters.

Keybox Reinforcement Continuity Systems

The Keybox system is a quick and easy method of maintaining continuity of reinforcement at construction joints in concrete. It comprises a galvanised steel casing, with a dimpled surface to provide effective concrete bond, which houses pre-bent bars beneath a protective cover. Click here for more information.

KSN Anchor Reinforcement Continuity Systems

KSN Anchors, in conjunction with BT parallel-threaded reinforcing bars, provide continuity of reinforcement at construction joints. This system is ideal for use where re-bending of bars is keen to be avoided or the continuation bar is too long to be fitted in a continuity box. Click here for more information.
