Ancon partners software giant, Bentley Systems

Ancon’s design method for punching shear reinforcement has been integrated into RAM Concept, the modelling tool for concrete floor slabs from Bentley Systems.

Users of RAM Concept can now perform an automated punching shear analysis and detail shear stud rails where required. 

Dr Michelle Parmenter, a senior engineer at Ancon, said “Having used RAM Concept extensively in my previous employment, I know this enhanced functionality will save precious time at the design stage and therefore be a considerable aid to busy engineers.”

Visit us at Concrete 2011, stand numbers 17 & 18

Ancon is exhibiting at the Concrete Institute of Australia's 25th Biennial Conference next month. The event is being held at Burswood Entertainment Complex, Perth on 12-14 October 2011. 

In addition to showcasing our new products including MultiJoint and Lockable Dowels, the Ancon stand will also feature products from Unicon and Halfen. Ancon is the sole distributor for Halfen-branded products in Australia. The range includes cast-in channels and façade hanging systems.
